The Sacrament of Holy Orders and Ordination
Holy Orders is one of the Church's Traditionally Recognized Sacraments. It is the pathway in answering the soul' Spiritual Call for Service to others. The Sacraments are ceremonial practices that are more like life signs, showing us the important parts of our journey through life and marking our passage rituals.
They are reminders or commendable practices that capture Divine grace that breathing meaning and holiness to our daily lives: "They bear fruit in those who receive them with the required dispositions."
The Power of the Sacraments
The English word "sacrament" derives indirectly from the Ecclesiastical Latin sacrāmentum, from Latin sacrō ("hallow, consecrate"), from sacer ("sacred, holy"). This, in turn, derives from the Greek New Testament word "mysterion." In Ancient Rome, the term meant a soldier's oath of allegiance and a sacred rite. Tertullian, a 3rd-century Christian writer, suggested that just as the soldier's oath was a sign of the beginning of a new life, so too was an initiation into the Christian community through baptism Eucharist. Baptism is the door of the spiritual life and the gateway to the sacraments.

Like every other sacrament, The Holy Order should not be taken lightly. That is, among all the sacraments, it is the one that reveals the sacred communion with the Divine in its mysterious acts of Faith and Revelations.
Holy Orders and The Higher Spiritual Calling
The Path of Ordination or Holy Orders requires expansion of consciousness, as the essence of Personal and Planetary Transformation. It also involves a commitment to Acceptance and Service to others in alignment with common ground and the greater Good at all times.

The Holy Vows are hybrid in nature, as they reflect the fusion among Personal, communitarian, and planetary oaths.
